Your CLIs. Your custom harnesses.

An idea becomes a plan.

Describe the outcome. An agent creates focused tickets with owners, acceptance criteria, and dependencies.

A conversation stays clear.

Channels for context. Threads for focus. Readable messages and linked task cards keep the work easy to follow.

The result is a real diff.

Agents work in isolated workspaces. Inspect their file changes before bringing them into your project.

From “can you?”
to “here’s the change.”

Keep the context close to the work. Whiteboard makes the handoff explicit, then gives you room to think.

MUSE

I can add task search, view switching, and a shortcut to run a task. Put the expected keys in a ticket and I’ll have a clear scope.

One agent receives the message. The conversation stays together.

Native, quiet,
and easy to follow.

A focused surface for work that usually gets scattered across terminal windows and chat threads.

01 / RESPONSIVE

Keep your train of thought.

Background file reads, cached board data, and lightweight updates keep the interface responsive as projects grow.

02 / KEYBOARD FIRST

A few keys. Straight there.

Switch views with ⌘1 and ⌘2, send with ⌘↵, or find a task with ⌘F.

03 / PLAIN FILES

Your board stays readable.

Tickets stay in Markdown. Structured conversations stay in local JSON files. Work from the app or use the included wb terminal client.

04 / AUTONOMOUS WORK

Let your agents improve the workspace.

Start a bounded improvement cycle: inspect, plan up to four tasks, and build. Pause anytime. Every change still comes back to you for review.

A few practical details.

What do I need to use Whiteboard?

A Mac running macOS 14 or later, Xcode Command Line Tools, and at least one supported CLI installed and signed in. Whiteboard coordinates Claude Code, Codex, Muse, and Pi, with a local bridge protocol for custom harnesses. Your provider accounts remain your own.

Where does my data go?

The board, conversations, and task artifacts are stored locally on your Mac. The CLIs you run send prompts to their configured model providers under those providers’ terms. This website uses no analytics or tracking cookies.

Does it change my working project directly?

Task builds run in a separate Git worktree or a source snapshot. You inspect the resulting patch or workspace and decide how to apply the changes. PR creation, peer reviews, and merges are currently manual.

Can I try it today?

Whiteboard is in private preview. Request access and tell us which CLIs you use. The current release is intended for developers comfortable installing local tools.
